Newport Business Energy Grant Application Process

Stage 3 – Grant Claim Submission

After completion, applicants provide a completed grant claim form, supplier invoices, bank statements confirming payment and photographs of the completed works. Following review and approval, grant funding is released.

Important Grant Payment Information

The Newport Business Energy Grant is paid retrospectively.

This means businesses and organisations must initially fund the project themselves before claiming back the agreed grant amount after project completion and submission of all required evidence.

Newport City Council cannot make payments directly to installers or contractors.
